Cadmian is an ecstatic five-piece rock n' roll band, formed in June 2006 from a little town; Palm Coast, FL. Cadmian is a band full of fun, excitement, and originality. They pour everything they have into their music,With hard hitting riffs and catchy, meaningful lyrics! Though there has been many hardships for them to overcome, they seem to preveil from it all and come out stronger.

The 2008 Young Guns Nationwide Online TEEN Battle of the Bands is a project of the Catawba College Music Business Students Association.

Catawba is one of only a very few four-year colleges or universities to offer a complete curriculum for performers and songwriters of popular music. The difference is making Catawba a top choice for a growing number of talented performers and songwriters of popular music from across the country.

And we do mean talented. Take recent Catawba graduate Dennis Reed, who beat out nearly 1300 other college songwriters from across the country to win the BMI/John Lennon Songwriting Scholarship. Proving Dennis' success was no fluke, Catawba junior Derek Daisey brought home second place in the 2007 Lennon competition.

Popular music at Catawba is paired with a vigorous music business curriculum. How vigorous? You did notice we're hosting a nationwide battle of the bands and songwriting contest for teen musicians that's sponsored by some leading organizations in the music industry, didn't you?
